Charlie and Mary Beth O’Reilly this week issued a challenge to donors who support Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.

The couple will match up to $500,000 for ever dollar pledged to BCFO through individual funds set up at Community Foundation of the Ozarks, according to a news release.

“We hope this gift will inspire others to help bring BCFO to a position of sustainability for future generations,” said Charlie O’Reilly, a trustee for BCFO and board vice chairman of O’Reilly Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: ORLY), in the release.

Seventeen years ago, Mary Beth O’Reilly founded BCFO to assist local families with members diagnosed with breast cancer. Since 2000, the organization has helped 2,400 families with financial assistance in the forms of rent and mortgage payments, utilities, car repairs and payments, and gas cards.
