O'Reilly, Starbucks among companies with least valuable workers

O’Reilly Automotive Inc. and Starbucks are among 10 companies with the least valuable workers, according to ratings by 24/7 Wall St.

Based on data from S&P Capital IQ, revenue per employee is relatively low at the Springfield-based auto parts dealer. With $107,400 in revenue per employee – based on $6.6 billion in revenue and 61,909 employees – O’Reilly Auto barely made the list. Following O’Reilly is:
  • No. 9 Marriott International, $103,900 in revenue per employee;
  • No. 8 Amphenol, $103,700;
  • No. 7 Jabil Circuit, $103,600;
  • No. 6 Starbucks, $81,800;
  • No. 5 Chipotle Mexican Grill, $70,900;
  • No. 4 McDonald’s, $63,900
  • No. 3 Cognizant Technology Solutions, $51,600;
  • No. 2 Yum! Brands, $42,600; and
  • No. 1 Starwood Hotels & Resorts, $33,700.
