He will succeed Jim Batten, who will retain the role of treasurer and ultimately take a less-than-full-time position with the company.
McFall, 36, joins O’Reilly from CSK Auto, where he served as CFO of its Midwest operations. He also previously served for eight years as controller, vice president of finance and CFO at Belleville, Mich.-based Murray’s Discount Auto Stores, which recently was acquired by CSK.
McFall has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University and is a certified public accountant.
Batten will stay on staff and continue to be involved with investor relations, financial reporting and on the company’s finance committee. According to an O’Reilly news release, Batten stepped down from the CFO post to have more personal time with his family.[[In-content Ad]]
