Two months after unveiling multimillion-dollar renovation plans for the Hawthorn Park Hotel, which will become a Doubletree hotel, O’Reilly Hospitality LLC signed a franchise agreement for the north-side location and a development agreement for the south-side location. O’Reilly Hospitality managing member Tim O’Reilly said he expects to sign a franchise agreement for the south-side location by early 2008.
Both restaurants should have about 6,000 square feet of space, O’Reilly said. The hotel restaurant is slated to open in March, about a month after renovations should be complete. The south-side location, planned for the southeast corner of Republic Road and Harvard Avenue, should open in 2009.
Houlihan’s, established in 1972, is an upscale casual dining chain with eight Missouri locations, mostly in the St. Louis and Kansas City areas. It has 92 locations in 21 states.
