O’Reilly Automotive to expand operations in N.C.

O’Reilly Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: ORLY) plans to expand its distribution operations at the McConnell Center industrial park in Greensboro, N.C.

The Triad Business Journal reports the Springfield auto parts retailer submitted plans for a one-store, 201,737-square-foot warehouse.

It would attach to O'Reilly's existing 310,000-square-foot, one-story distribution building.

O'Reilly Auto plans to invest $41.7 million over three years and create 360 new jobs, paying an average wage of $27,201 per year plus benefits. The city and county approved a total of $392,000 worth of incentives, according to the report.
