Following a 15-for-1 stock split this summer, O'Reilly Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: ORLY) stock is hitting new 52-week highs.
The stock’s 52-week high was $108.06 as of 11:57 a.m., after crossing $100 on July 24 and surpassing $105 on Sept. 4. On June 10, the first day of post-split trading, the stock’s high was $93.50.
On a pre-split basis, this morning’s high of $108.06 equates to $1,620.90 per share. Before the 15-for-1 split, O’Reilly Automotive's all-time high was $1,458.30 per share, according to stock market records.
O'Reilly Automotive announced in March that its board gave the green light to the stock split, through which shareholders of record as of June 2 would receive 14 additional shares of common stock for each share held. The company previously enacted two-for-one stock splits in June 2005, December 1999 and September 1997, according to past reporting.
During the second quarter, the Springfield-based auto parts retailer recorded a 5.9% increase in revenue to $4.5 billion and 7.3% jump in net income to $668.6 million, according to past reporting.
ORLY stock's current 52-week low is $73.33 per share.
