O'Reilly Automotive Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ORLY) stock has hit multiple all-time highs in recent days ahead of the release of the company's annual financial report.
The most recent 52-week high of $1,311.42 was set today, following highs of $1,291.15 on Jan. 29, $1,289.93 on Jan. 28 and $1,285.90 on Jan. 27, according to stock market data pulled by Yahoo Finance. Prior to that, the high of $1,283.96 per share was set in mid-December.
The Springfield-based auto parts retailer is scheduled to release its fourth-quarter and full-year financial results on Feb. 5, according to a news release.
The Zacks Equity Research consensus estimate for O'Reilly Automotive projects fourth-quarter earnings of $9.84 per share, which would be a 6.3% increase from a year prior. The Zacks report additionally points to expectations of $4.03 billion in revenue, which would be a 5.2% jump.
In the third quarter, O'Reilly Automotive reported net income of $665.5 million, a 2.4% year-over-year increase, and revenue of $4.4 billion, a 3.8% increase. Diluted share earnings rose to $11.41 from $10.72 per share for the three-month period that ended Sept. 30
The 52-week low for ORLY stock is $947.49 per share. The company's stock first cleared the $1,000 threshold in November 2023, according to past reporting.
