O'Reilly Automotive stock sets 52-week high

A day before St. Patrick’s Day, the shamrock-branded O’Reilly Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: ORLY) hit a new 52-week stock high.

During trading March 16, ORLY shares reached a new peak of $215.49. On Paddy’s Day, the company’s stock traded as high as $215.01.

The stock crossed the $200 threshold on Feb. 5, the highest mark since the Springfield-based auto parts retailer’s initial public offering in April 1993. Late last month, company executives sold a collective 235,000 shares valued at nearly $30 million.

Analysts covering O’Reilly stock set a new target price of $219.58 when the company releases its next earnings report, according to TheMarketsDaily.com.

As of 11:44 a.m, ORLY shares were trading at $210.60. The company’s 52-week low is $141.08.[[In-content Ad]]
