O'Reilly Automotive stock hits all-time high

Stock for Springfield-based O'Reilly Automotive Inc. climbed to $66.52 July 1, the highest in the company's public history, according to Google Finance.

The company's shares went public in April 1993.

O'Reilly shares were trading at $65.95 as of 11:30 a.m., compared to a 52-week range of $45.65 to $66.52.

The company has roughly 137.9 million outstanding shares and a market cap of $9.1 billion.

O'Reilly posted first-quarter net income of $102.5 million, or 72 cents per share.
