Posted online

Springfield-based O'Reilly Automotive Inc. has added a new member to its leadership team.

Colin Yankee started July 13 as executive vice president and chief supply chain officer, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

"In this position, Mr. Yankee will be responsible for all aspects of our supply chain operations including merchandise, inventory management, distribution operations and transportation," company officials said in the filing.

Company spokesperson Sonya Kullmann Cox said via email that the position is an addition to the O’Reilly Automotive leadership team.

"He joins at an exciting time as O’Reilly Auto Parts continues to grow across North America," Cox said. "We strive to get our customers the parts they need, when they need them, which requires an increasingly robust supply chain."

Yankee, 49, brings more than 20 years of retail supply chain experience to O’Reilly Automotive. He most recently worked since 2020 as executive vice president and chief supply chain officer at Tractor Supply Co.

Yankee's annual base salary will be $700,000, and he's eligible to participate in O'Reilly Automotive's annual performance incentive compensation plan, along with other incentives including stock awards, according to the SEC filing.
