O'Reilly Automotive EVP sells $340,000 in stock

In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Jan. 22, O'Reilly Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: ORLY) executive Jeff Shaw disclosed he sold $340,000 worth of shares of company stock.

The 2,500 shares sold were valued at an average price of $136 apiece in the transaction that closed a day earlier. Shaw, an executive vice president of store operations/sales, now owns 23,842 shares of ORLY stock, valued at roughly $3.2 million, according to the SEC filing.

ORLY shares closed Jan. 24 at $132.56, compared to a 52-week range of $91.25 to $137.28.

The Springfield company is scheduled to release its fourth-quarter and full-year earnings Feb. 5.
