Springfield-based auto parts retailer O'Reilly Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: ORLY) has distributed $750,000 to area nonprofits.
The funds, presented Nov. 21 at DoubleTree by Hilton, were made available through two O’Reilly Charity Golf Classic tournaments held this year, according to a news release.
The nonprofit recipients, in alphabetical order, are as follows:
• Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, $20,000
• Betty and Bobby Allison Ozarks Counseling Center, $25,000
• Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield Inc., $20,000
• Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, $30,000

• Care to Learn, $25,000
• Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri, $20,000
• Child Advocacy Center Inc., $35,000
• Children’s Smile Center, $10,000
• Community Partnership of the Ozarks Inc., $20,000
• Council of Churches of the Ozarks, $25,000
• Developmental Center of the Ozarks, $25,000
• Doula Foundation of Mid-America Inc., $15,000
• Drew Lewis Foundation Inc., $10,000
• Dynamic Strides Therapy, $17,000
• FosterAdopt Connect, $20,000
• GYN Cancers Alliance, $20,000
• Harmony House, $25,000
• In Time of Need Foundation, $10,000

“We know this money is impactful for our community’s nonprofits and the people they serve, and we’re so happy to help,” said Tracie Patton, O’Reilly Automotive director of travel and internal events, in the release. "But even with everything we were able to give out today, there are unmet needs in the grant applications that we couldn’t fund. We hope our neighbors will remember these nonprofits and others in our community and consider giving."
