O'Reilly Automotive Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ORLY) stock price has hit a new 52-week high as the company prepares to release its latest quarterly earnings report this month.
The new high, at $1,171.39 per share, was reached in trading yesterday, with the stock closing at $1,151.42, according to stock market data compiled by Yahoo Finance. ORLY shares were trading at $1,160.87 per share as of 11:27 a.m., and the stock's 52-week low is $860.10 per share.
O'Reilly Automotive, an auto parts retailer based in the Queen City, announced in an Oct. 1 news release that its third-quarter earnings report would be released on Oct. 23.
Multiple analysts have issued "buy" ratings for O'Reilly Auto stock in recent months, according to a MarketBeat report.
ORLY stock first crossed the $1,000 mark in November 2023, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.
This year, the stock largely has traded above $1,000, with exceptions below that mark largely seen in January, May and June.
In the second quarter, O'Reilly Automotive reported profits of $622.8 million, a 0.7% decrease year over year, and revenue of $4.3 billion, a 5% increase compared with the same quarter of 2023, according to past reporting.
