O’Reilly Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: ORLY) this week awarded stock options to five of its board members.
Each of the board members on May 9 received 509 shares that were priced at the time at $265.41 apiece. The value of the stock options for each board member was $135,094 at that share price. The stock options vest in three installments on May 9, 2019, 2020 and 2021, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The board members are:
• Jay Burchfield, a board member since 1997;
• Tom Hendrickson, since 2010;
• John Murphy, since 2003;
• Dana Perlman, since 2017; and
• Ronald Rashkow, since 2003.
Separately, O’Reilly Automotive executive Jason Tarrant bought and sold shares this week under the SEC transaction code M, which allows executives to purchase shares at set rates and then sell them at market prices.
The trading of 1,000 shares net Tarrant $224,588 on May 7, according to an SEC filing. Tarrant is the company’s senior vice president of western store operations and sales.
ORLY shares were trading at $266.99 as of 9:56 a.m., compared with a 52-week range of $169.43 to $279.23.
