Oracle to seal $5B deal for Micros Systems

Oracle Corp. is poised to seal a deal to buy Micros Systems Inc. for about $5 billion, according to a person familiar with the matter.

MarketWatch reports the deal woudl be the biggest for Oracle since its $7.4 billion acquisition of of Sun Microsystems Inc. in 2010.

Micros sells software used by retailers and hospitality providers.
