The U.S. Department of Labor alleges Oracle engaged in discriminatory wage practices.
The government agency accuses Oracle of causing more than $400 million in losses for female, black and Asian employees.
"This meritless lawsuit is based on false allegations and a seriously flawed process within the (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs) that relies on cherry-picked statistics rather than reality," said Dorian Daley, Oracle executive vice president and general counsel. "We fiercely disagree with the spurious claims and will continue in the process to prove them false."
