A week after agreeing to pay a $225 million settlement to the U.S., opioid maker Insys Therapeutics filed for bankruptcy.
Through the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, the company intends to sell substantially all of its assets.
The recent settlement involved bribes paid to doctors to prescribe Insys' Subsys medication.
