New year, fresh start, right? If you use the clean-slate feel of January to resolve to better yourself in the coming year, techno-nudges to keep you on track are now in hand, according to the New York Times.
 
Does peer pressure motivate you? Consider apps such as Lift for iOS or Habit Streak Pro on Android. Both let you set goals, track your progress, offer encouraging advice to keep you motivated and allow you to share your experience with others working on the same goal.
 
Prefer to stay mum on how much weight you’ve lost or cigarettes you sneaked? Apps that let you keep your progress between just the two of you include Everest (iOS) and the Habit Factor (both iOS and Android). Most apps are free but some will test your resolve to improve your life by costing up to $4.
