OpenAI Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar told employees that the company would likely go public in 2027.
The initial public offering could come sooner if “our business continues to inflect," Friar said.
“The IPO is not a finish line, it is a milestone, another fundraise,” Friar told employees, according to sources familiar with the matter.
