YoFroYo Frozen Yogurt & Smoothies
YoFroYo Frozen Yogurt & Smoothies opened July 18 at 4127 S. Kansas Expressway, Ste. 120. DeMileo Woods owns the 1,500-square-foot venture that offers a rotating lineup of frozen yogurt flavors, which are all gluten-free. He said YoFroYo also sells vegan and stevia options for those who can’t consume dairy or sugar. Woods said the frozen yogurt is sold by cup size, not weight, and allows unlimited toppings. The menu also includes specialty sweets, including shakes, smoothies, bubble waffles, Dubai chocolate, frozen yogurt cookie sandwiches, mini pancakes and strawberry cups filled with options such as white chocolate and pistachio. Most items range $5-$10. Woods declined to disclose startup costs or lease terms but said he employs a staff of six at the shop. It fills space previously occupied by Belles & Beaus Haircuts for Kids LLC, which shuttered. He said his prior food service experience included Pizza Hut and Speedy’s Cowabunga, a food truck which he owned via Speedy’s Chicken LLC.

Jack Henry & Associates Inc.
Monett-based financial software company Jack Henry & Associates (Nasdaq: JKHY) conducted an acquisition last month of fintech firm Victor Technologies from Fairmont, West Virginia-based MVB Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: MVBF). MVB Financial officials say the deal, which closed for undisclosed terms on Sept. 30, is expected to generate a roughly $33 million pretax gain for the business. Victor Technologies was founded in 2021 and incubated within MVB. Victor operates an embedded payments platform that already provides Jack Henry clients with services such as real-time payment processing, virtual ledgering and regulatory compliance solutions, officials say. As part of the deal, Victor’s 19 employees have joined Jack Henry, said Mark Folk, the company’s corporate communications director. Jack Henry, which has around 7,400 financial industry clients, in August reported fiscal 2025 net income of $455.7 million, an increase from $381.8 million in fiscal 2024. Its headquarters is at 663 W. Highway 60 in Monett.

CoxHealth expanded its orthopedics and sports medicine programs with a new clinic in Branson. The CoxHealth Branson Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Walk-in Clinic opened Aug. 18 in the Branson Cahill Clinic at 121 Cahill Road, Ste. 206, said health system spokesperson Randy Berger. Led by Dr. Jackson Bagby, a sports medicine-trained physician, the clinic works with orthopedic surgeons Dr. Patrick Finkbone and Dr. Chad Efird, along with four advanced practice providers and support staff, Berger said.
