Tafferdenia has reopened for business at 2674 S. Glenstone in the Brentwood Center. Owner Janet Slocum-Smith previously had a different location for the store elsewhere in the Brentwood Center. Tafferdenia is a gift shop that offers custom-made potpourri, hand-painted gift items and other "whimsical" merchandise that includes jewelry, flowers, and candy. Tafferdenia's hours of operation are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays.

Game X Change moved its north-side location from Kearney Street to 1502 S. Glenstone in the Glen Isle Center. Game X Change buys, sells and trades new and used video games, systems and accessories. The hours of operation are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. The company's second location is at 3630 S. Campbell Ave.
