Hive Design Build LLC
Hive Design Build LLC opened Oct. 1 at 207 Park Central East, Ste. B, in the Holland building. Drury University architecture graduate Jared Hoffpauir leases the office from architect Allen Casey for $400 per month. The construction services firm shares the space with Hoffpauir’s J. Design Studios. Along with Hoffpauir, fellow Drury graduates Mike Brown and Scott Dunn operate the design side of the firm, while Aaron Noble and Eric Hambey manage the construction aspect. The designers aren’t licensed architects, but Hoffpauir said the group is entertaining the idea of bringing on a licensed architect for commercial work. Previous projects of Hive Design Build have included modern homes, furniture, a river cabin and Commercial Street lofts. “We take the client through the whole process of both designing the project and building it,” Hoffpauir said. Hours: by appointment. Phone: (417) 457-7781. Web: HiveDesignBuild.com
