The studio and retail store offers classes in basic sewing, embroidery, knitting, crocheting and alterations, beginning at 5 years of age, with lessons provided by Ria Sharr and a few independent instructors. Mid America Metals, organized under Renaissance Metals Inc., relocated Feb. 23 from the company’s longtime corporate headquarters in Forsyth to 1567 W. Diane St., Stes. A and B, in Ozark. Owner, CEO and President Dale Donat said the company has a five-year lease on the 6,200-square-foot space with Donat-owned Tanod Real Estate and Development LLC for undisclosed terms. Tanod purchased the building for over $500,000 in November 2014, and Donat said relocation costs were around $40,000. The company performs stone, metal, wood and glass restoration on commercial buildings nationwide, with recent projects ranging up to $400,000, Donat said.
