Rib Crib Essentials
Tulsa, Oklahoma-based barbecue chain Rib Crib made a business pivot during COVID-19 restrictions, to start selling high-demand grocery and pantry items. Dubbed Essentials, the service launched April 13 in Springfield – at 1720 S. Campbell Ave. and 1640 N. Glenstone Ave. – and across its eight-state footprint. While the restaurants are closed to dine-in traffic, customers can buy over 30 items for curbside pickup, as well as from its barbecue menu. Rib Crib Facilities Director Bob Luke said Essentials started to provide options for consumers worried about crowded grocery stores and limited choices in stock. Products include eggs, milk, cheese, bacon, toilet paper and vegetables. Prices begin at $1 for an onion or tomato and top out at $80 for a 12-14-pound whole raw brisket, according to its website. Both Springfield restaurants have temporary limited hours, Luke said, with delivery options for Essentials planned.

Solutions Systems Inc.
Property restoration company Solutions Systems Inc. established its first commercial office Jan. 2 at 616 E. Bain St. in Ozark. Owner Adam Stewart started the business in 2017, but it previously didn’t have a physical presence, said Marketing Director Lacey Whitmer. The company also utilizes the roughly 1,000-square-foot space for storing its equipment, she said, declining to disclose lease terms or relocation costs. Serving the Springfield and Branson areas, Solutions Systems provides water and fire restoration and reconstruction, mold remediation and general remodeling. Whitmer said the company worked on several Ozark homes damaged in last year’s tornado. She said the six-person staff specializes in flooded basement repairs, sewer backup damage and leaking roofs. Solutions Systems is available 24/7 for emergency response to water, storm and fire damage.
