Park Central Market
Downtown Springfield grocery store Park Central Market is under new ownership. Jade Lovelady said she purchased the store with business partner Tyler Buttram and brother Adam Lovelady. The sale from founders Scott and Raven Cotton closed May 13 for undisclosed terms, she said. Lovelady said she and her co-owners have always dreamed of owning a business, noting they have grocery store experience working at MaMa Jean’s Natural Foods Market LLC. Founded in March 2018, Park Central Market is located in 2,700 square feet on the ground floor of Sky Eleven at 331 Park Central East, Ste. 100. The three-employee store which has grocery and beer coolers, as well as to-go snacks and beverages, is located next door to Druff’s restaurant. Declining to disclose financial terms, Lovelady said the new owners have taken over the lease in the Sky Eleven building.
