An Aug. 10 grand opening followed the July 6 start for employees at the $7.3 million Ozarks Technical Community College Republic Center, 584 W. U.S. Highway 60. The fall semester began Aug. 24, with more than 100 students registered for classes, pursuing associate degrees such as general education and criminal justice. The campus is designed to serve up to 1,200 students, OTC officials say. The campus development is funded by a 2018 ballot measure approved by voters for new and renewed tax levies over a 20-year period, a $2.3 million interest-free loan through Webster Electric Cooperative, $1.25 million from the state of Missouri and $250,000 from the Sunderland Foundation, said OTC spokesperson Mark Miller. A 7.7-acre land donation by the Bussey, Cox and Lipscomb families five years ago paved the way for the development. Campus director James Ackerman leads a staff of 14, Miller said. The center also has roughly 30 adjunct instructors.

JNM Realty Group LLC
Rogersville-based real estate firm JNM Realty Group LLC moved June 19 to larger space at 110 Dempsey Drive, Ste. K, in Finley River Plaza from 319 S. Main St. Husband-and-wife owners Nick and Jerri Mitchell started the company in 2013 out of their home. It has since grown to 14 employees, offering residential and commercial real estate sales, rentals and property management, said Jerri Mitchell. She said the firm manages nearly 200 residential properties, 13 homeowners’ associations and half a dozen apartment complexes. Office relocation costs were around $8,000, she said, declining to disclose the five-year lease rate with MDSP Holdings LLC. JNM Realty fills roughly 1,600 square feet in space formerly occupied by Modest Chic Boutique, she said. Mitchell worked as a property manager for 15 years with Morelock-Ross Builders Inc. before she and her husband launched JNM Realty.

Anything Possible LLC
Fishing gear company Anything Possible LLC relocated to Springfield from Ozark on March 23. The lure and fishing pole manufacturer and retailer, which does business as Anything Possible Brands, leases roughly 59,000 square feet at 1851-1915 E. Florida St. from property owner Rebcol Corp. It formerly was a tenant at 1600 W. Jackson St., a building now owned by Ozark School District. Anything Possible first moved into the 1851 E. Florida St. building and expanded June 1 to the adjacent facility for extra warehouse space, said Chief Operating Officer John Morlan. He declined to disclose lease terms or relocation costs. Morlan said the company currently employs 20 with plans to grow to 26 by year’s end. Ralph Duda III founded Anything Possible in 2012, and Morlan said he and professional athletes Brad Miller and Anthony Tolliver are partners in the company. Anything Possible sells a line of youth fishing kits, lures, reels and other products in stores, including Bass Pro Shops, Target and Walmart.
