National Home Products
National Home Products made its return to Springfield on Sept. 4, when owners Andy and Monica Jenisch opened a 2,000-square-foot showroom at 2726 S. Glenstone Ave. in Brentwood Center. The company was founded by Chris Torrisi in Springfield in 1978 before moving to 1605 W. Skyline Ave. in Ozark in 1997, said Monica Jenisch, who with her husband bought National Home Products in 2008. With nine employees, the store sells home products from cabinet hardware to garage organization systems. The space is leased for the next three years from Gillenwaters Developers Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Hours: 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Phone: (417) 731-3220. Queen City Personal Shopper
Donna Shaddy directed a love for shopping toward her personal shopper business, which opened May 22. As the lone operator of Queen City Personal Shopper, Shaddy handles purchases for clients in Springfield and surrounding areas such as Nixa, Ozark and Willard. She gained an interest in personal shopping while volunteering to shop for elderly women through Council of Churches of the Ozarks. Shaddy has been volunteering since 2010 and plans to continue while operating her business. Costs for Shaddy’s shopping services are $10 per trip and and $2 per store for additional stops. Hours: by appointment Monday through Friday. Phone: (417) 827-1127.

Big Time Results
Noah Alldredge moved Big Time Results on Sept. 1 to 3343 E. Montclair St., Ste. A, from 3240 E. Ridgeview Ave. Alldredge said he runs the 3,800-square-foot gym with 10 full-time employees, who have bachelor’s degrees in health sciences and related fields and are accredited trainers through the American College of Sports Medicine or the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Big Time Results offers personal training at $35 per hourly session, boot-camp training for $80 per month with unlimited attendance and corporate wellness services at $40 a month per employee. Alldredge, who earned a dietetics degree at Missouri State University, said he launched Big Time results five years ago after selling stock and inheriting money to cover his $4,000 startup cost. He said consistent profit margins of 25 percent allowed him to make the move to the bigger space with showers and additional parking for clients. Alldredge leases from Risdal Enterprises for an undisclosed amount. Hours: 5 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone: (417) 631-4702.  Web: BigTimeResults.com
