Midwest Legal Services Inc.
Midwest Legal Services attorney Bob McGee moved his office April 15 to 601 N. National Ave, Ste. 103, in the Lofts at Jordan Creek. McGee specializes in criminal and bankruptcy law. “I wanted to do more bankruptcies and needed a more visible location,” McGee said, pointing to city statistics that show about 50,000 cars go through the intersection of National Avenue and Chestnut Expressway daily, compared to 1,000 cars by his previous office, 945 N. Campbell Ave. The Jordan Creek office, at 1,200 square feet, is nearly double the size of his previous location. McGee signed a one-year lease from Craig Wagoner for undisclosed terms. Midwest Legal Services has three employees. Hours: 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone: (417) 869-6159.

Postal Federal Community Credit Union
Postal Federal Community Credit Union on Aug. 9 moved into its expanded operations center at 1770 W. Sunset St. The two-story, 13,000-square-foot addition combines the credit union’s operations and support departments, allowing the credit union to house its entire operational staff in one area, said Jenny Reynolds, marketing director. The expansion, which also includes a new call center, cost $2.6 million, paid in cash, Reynolds said. The credit union has more than $133 million in assets and six locations, serving a 10-county area in southwest Missouri. Hours: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone: (417) 887-1983.

Swing Right Golf LLC
Russell Kisling reopened Swing Right Golf LLC, 444 E. Farm Road 192, on Aug. 31. Kisling purchased the driving range for an undisclosed amount from Citizens National Bank after it had been closed for a year. Swing Right Golf features covered and heated tees for year-round practice, a handicap-accessible miniature golf course with ponds, streams and a waterfall, and a golf swing simulator. Kisling said he lives near the range, which is east of Campbell Avenue behind Steinert’s Gardens, and noticed the property for sale. Kisling, who is retired, said he bought the business as an investment, and his wife, children and grandchildren work at the course. Liberty Bank financed the deal. Hours: 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Sunday. Phone: (417) 882-1222.
