Dr. Keith LaFerriere on Feb. 16 opened LaFerriere Vitality Centre LLC at 3808 S. Greystone Court. LaFerriere, who has 36 years of experience with The Facial Plastic Surgery Center and Mercy Clinics Facial Plastic Surgery, said he leases an office at Ozarks Dermatology Specialists from Dr. Craig Naugle for undisclosed terms. LaFerriere Vitality Centre specializes in bioidentical hormone optimization for women and men over the age of 50. LaFerriere is certified in advanced bioidentical hormone replacement therapy through Worldlink Medical. Declining to disclose service prices, LaFerreire said clients complete a reviewed health questionnaire and lab tests before receiving an appointment and customized therapy plan. Demi Creative LLC
Dan Spencer moved his website design and development firm Demi Creative LLC on March 1 to 2144 E. Republic Road, Ste. B-201, in the Cast Workspace Cooperative at Farmers Park. Spencer said the company leased 1,200 square feet for two years at the downtown College Station Lofts building for $8.35 per square foot annually. While Demi Creative works with local clients, including Ozark Greenways Inc., Springfield-Greene County Library District and Kuat Innovations LLC, he said most work is done remotely, prompting the move. Cast charges Demi Creative $350 per month for access to the shared space, he said. The company’s sole employee, Spencer also works in graphic design, branding and logo development, with remote independent contractors handling network development and copywriting. A Hip Joint
Majority owners Eric and Tania Reavis, along with Velisha and Cory Brockert, on March 21 opened chiropractic, massage and acupuncture therapy practice A Hip Joint at 309 S. Jefferson Ave., formerly Mille’s Cafe. Owned in a 90-10 split between the husband-and-wife teams, Marketing Director Cory Brockert said the company leases 1,300 square feet from Dave and Karen Bauer for undisclosed terms. The Reavises are licensed chiropractors, and Velisha Brockert works as office manager. The practice doesn’t accept insurance, instead operating on a monthly membership model with three levels priced at $35, $55 and $100. Brockert said single-visit chiropractic adjustments are $45, massages $55 and acupuncture sessions $65. The owners plan to franchise the model, and they’re targeting five Missouri offices, two in Tulsa and one in Kansas. Franchise fees are set at $45,000 per office with royalties of 6 percent of gross sales. The Springfield office employs seven. Hours: 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Phone: (417) 832-1447.
