Russ Larson purchased the 5-acre former Lincoln Mercury dealership for $2.2 million and invested another $600,000 to renovate the showroom, offices and six service bays, said Sleeth, who moved from Indianapolis to serve as general manager. He previously worked in the corporate offices. “I started out pushing a mail cart, and now I own one,” Sleeth said, noting his Iowa-based business partner has ownership in seven J.D. Byrider dealerships. Sleeth said the used car dealership carries 2004 to 2012 models, generally listed between $8,000 and $14,000, and in-house financing is provided through Car Now Acceptance Corp.
