Springfield-based Intrepid USA Healthcare Services moved June 30 to 2,319 square feet at 4305 S. National Ave. from 777 E. Battlefield Road. Intrepid USA Healthcare signed a five-year lease with Aundria Plaza owners Apple Court North LLC and Charterhouse LLC for $1,932 a month, according to Springfield office manager Kristy Wyatt. With offices in Springfield, Mount Vernon, Mountain Grove and Lebanon, the company serves acute and chronically ill patients and their families with skilled nursing and physical, occupational and speech therapies. Clinical specialty programs help patients manage diseases and keep seniors at home, said Administrator Kim Watts. Intrepid USA employs 23 in Springfield and 59 across its four area offices. Insurance Pro Agencies Inc. opened its first branch office outside of its home state of Illinois on Dec. 1 at 2155 E. Sunshine St., Ste. 202, in the TelComm Credit Union building. Fifteen-year agent Pete Flood leads the office and represents independent insurance companies such as Travelers, The Hartford, Safeco, MetLife, AAA and Rockford Mutual. The Chicago-based personal and business insurance provider was established in 1982. Flood and another agent lease the space; terms were not disclosed. Great Southern Bancorp
Springfield-based Great Southern Bancorp (NASDAQ: GSBC) opened a full-service banking center Dec. 13 at 15695 U.S. Highway 160 in Forsyth, the first Great Southern Bank in the city. Branson market manager Tenya Privett manages the Forsyth location, and Assistant Manager Alisha Fish leads four tellers. The bank offers safety-deposit boxes, two drive-up teller lanes and a drive-up ATM, spokeswoman Kelly Polonus said. The Forsyth location complements three branches in Branson and one in Kimberling City. Great Southern provides banking, investment, insurance and travel services. With total assets of $3.4 billion, it operates 75 banking centers and more than 200 ATMs in five Midwestern states.
