The company works with spray foam, batts and blow-in insulation products. She said startup costs were $100,000, mostly for equipment purchases. The Gardners are in an open-ended lease with Trinity Land Development for the 9,000-square-foot building, and the company’s service area extends into Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas. Britt Gardner, who worked a stint as a Springfield Sam’s Club manager, retired from Missouri Insulation months after the September 2012 death of owner John Lambert. He comes from a long line of businessmen dating back to the 1930s, with such companies in the family as Gardner Lumber Supply, Gardner Office Supply and Stokes Floral Co.
