Honda of the Ozarks
Dennis Revell opened Honda of the Ozarks on June 6 at 2055 E. Kerr St., near the Interstate 44 and Glenstone Avenue intersection. Earlier this year, Revell’s DR Motorsports LLC built a $1.7 million, 20,700-square-foot store to house the Level-5 Honda Powerhouse dealership, a certification issued by American Honda Motor Co. The dealership sells new and used Honda motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, generators, water pumps and lawn mowers, said Revell, who employs 15. The facility also includes a showroom, administrative offices and a service/parts department. Revell said scooters run about $2,000, ATVs retail for up to $8,000, and motorcycles range between $3,000 and $28,000 for the Gold Wing touring bike. Hours: 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Phone: (417) 862-4686. Web: HondaOfTheOzarks.com

Steak-Out
Steak-Out franchisee James Medlock on May 24 bought out business partner Jeff Prantl. Medlock is now sole owner of the delivery and carry-out restaurant at 550 E. Chestnut Expressway. In the deal, Medlock said he purchased Prantl’s half of managing company JNP & JDM LLC for $40,000. Medlock and Prantl were Steak-Out managers when they came together about five years ago to buy the franchise rights from Bill Brandt, who brought the Atlanta-based franchise to Springfield in 1992. Medlock said he plans to get back to the restaurant’s basics by simplifying the menu and emphasizing quality service with his staff of roughly 14. Medlock and Prantl had been subcontracted to serve Steak-Out food in a College Station comedy club before those plans dissolved in the wake of a drug possession charge against its organizer, Travis Dibben. Hours: 10:30 a.m.–10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Phone: (417) 873-9400. Web: WeDeliverSteaks.com

CJR Tri-Lakes
Minneapolis-based HomeServices of America Inc., the parent company of Carol Jones Realtors, acquired Branson-based Tri-Lakes Realtors on June 5, resulting in a merged entity known as CJR Tri-Lakes. The new firm serves the lakes-area region with offices in Branson West, Ridgedale and Shell Knob. Rick Witeka, formerly president of Tri-Lakes Realtors, now serves as general manager of CJR Tri-Lakes, leading more than 40 sales associates who join more than 180 other agents under the banner of Carol Jones Realtors. Hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment. Phone: (417) 883-6666 Web: CarolJones.com and Trilakes.com.
