Hogan Land Title Co. added its seventh office on Feb. 12 at 1615 E. Primrose St. Two staff members – manager Angel Inmon and processor Nikki Skinner – run the 1,228-square-foot office. With five offices in Springfield and two in the Branson area, Hogan Land Title employs 55 and offers real estate services including insurance policies, escrow closings, title searches, extensive 1031 tax exchanges and construction disbursement in Greene, Christian, Taney and Stone counties, said Marketing Director Emily Laurie. Tip-Top Barbeque
With a staff of five, Lauren Watson on Jan. 24 opened Tip-Top Barbeque at 1704 James River Road in Ozark, near the State Highway J exit off U.S. Highway 65. Watson, who said she previously worked for seven years at John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts and originally hails from Memphis, Tenn., is developing the venture with her parents, Matt and Susan Watson, but she is the sole owner. Declining to disclose startup costs, Watson said she invested in restaurant equipment and has hired five employees. She said Tip-Top Barbeque meats are smoked on-site and the sauce, barbeque beans and coleslaw is made fresh daily. The Ozark restaurant seats 65 and is leased by CES Holdings LLC for an undisclosed amount. Hours: 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Sunday. Phone: (417) 485-0602.

Cafe 101
Cafe 101 opened its doors to students and the public Jan. 15 on the Ozarks Technical Community College Richwood Valley campus. At 3369 W. Jackson St. in Ozark, the cafe features sandwiches from Chick-fil-A, though it does not operate as a franchise of the Atlanta-based brand, said OTC spokesman Mark Miller. He said the college does not pay Chick-fil-A franchise fees or royalties, rather it buys product from the franchise store at 3700 S. Glenstone Ave. in Springfield Cafe 101 also sells deli sandwiches, wraps, salads, hot breakfast items and coffee. OTC employs three to run the cafe.
