Got Good Coffee LLC
Jin’s Korean Grill owner Jay Jung on Dec. 5 opened Got Good Coffee LLC at 300 Park Central East, the former home of Parlor 88 and Fedora Social House. With signage marked Got Good Coffee By the Jung Bros, the restaurateur co-owns the downtown coffeehouse with Matthew Jung, a friend who isn’t related. Jung, who opened his 2185 S. Campbell Ave. Korean restaurant four years ago, said the business partners invested about $80,000 in the new venture. They signed a three-year lease with Paul Sundy and 28 Properties LLC for the 4,200-square-foot space. The shop serves coffee, lattes, tea and milk tea, as well as waffles, crepes, cookies and muffins. Hours: 7 a.m.–11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m.–midnight Friday and Saturday. Phone: (417) 862-1788

Halo Massage and Wellness
Angela Romine moved her massage therapy studio Nov. 15 to shared space inside the Headache Care Center, 3805 S. Kansas Expressway. A graduate of the Professional Massage Training Center, Romine started Halo Massage and Wellness in April 2013 at a subleased studio in Glenstone Square. She said the move enables her to refer clients to Headache Care Center doctors as she gears her services toward health rather than spa treatment. “I look at the whole body approach,” she said, pointing to acupuncture and chiropractic treatments as complements. “I try to focus on the why it’s happening and treat those muscles.” With about 100 active clients, Romine charges $60 per hour and offers deep tissue and Swedish massages, as well as children’s massages to address sleep, anxiety and stomach issues. She signed a one-year lease for $250 per month. Hours: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and by appointment Saturday. Phone: (417) 719-5049. Web: HaloMassageAndWellness.com
