Good Pizza Co.
After making its food service debut in April 2024, Good Pizza Co. settled into a semipermanent home on Jan. 1 at Metro Eats, 2463 W. Sunshine St. Daniel Fenton owns the New York-style pizza food truck, which sells extra-large thin and crispy pizzas by the slice or whole. Slices range $4-$6, while whole pizzas range $22-$28. Fenton said he has a month-to-month lease for $500 per month with Christina Shellhart, who owns the west Springfield development that includes a food hall, bar, retail vendors and farmers market. Fenton said while some family members help him out, he is the lone employee at Good Pizza Co. While now settled at Metro Eats, Fenton said he also plans to continue taking the mobile eatery to events such as concerts, festivals and weddings. Fenton has previous restaurant ownership experience, having owned Luco’s Pizza at 2925 W. Republic Road, Ste. 100, for over four years before shuttering the business in 2022.

Cantrell Real Estate
Cantrell Real Estate, which opened in 2021, changed Queen City locations with an Aug. 1 move to 4136 S. McCann Court. The boutique real estate company owned by Michelle Cantrell previously operated at 1531 E. Bradford Parkway. Cantrell, who has worked in real estate for over three decades, said she invested around $1.2 million in the purchase and renovation of the roughly 6,000-square-foot McCann Court property. She said owning her own building was a dream since starting her business, noting it took several years to find a space large enough to meet the needs of her company, which employs 47, including 37 real estate agents. The new location includes office spaces, a soundproof calling booth and a large training space with a full kitchen, she said. Cantrell Real Estate has residential and commercial listings with its staff servicing areas up to two hours outside of Springfield.
