Four Paws Salon LLC
Dog grooming business Four Paws Salon LLC moved Jan. 21 to larger space at 1235 E. Republic Road. The 3-year-old salon co-owned by Ashley Collins and her husband Kem had operated in the Plaza Shopping Center at 1940 S. Glenstone Ave., but Meek Chiropractic in October announced expansion plans to take over the salon’s space. At 1,600 square feet, Ashley Collins said the new home is nearly a third larger than the old shop. Collins said her salon serves around 300 clients and grew about 20% in 2019. She declined to disclose revenue, lease terms or relocation costs. The salon provides bathing, haircuts, nail trimming and ear cleaning to all sizes and breeds of dogs, she said, noting two other groomers rent space for $150 per week. Collins has 13 years of grooming experience, including nine years as a groomer for Petsway.

Detail Garage
Los Angeles-based vehicle retail company Detail Garage opened a store March 7 in Springfield at 3863 S. Campbell Ave., Ste. D, in the Parkcrest Center. Michael Doty is the franchisee, selling automotive detail supplies under the company’s Chemical Guys brand, said Chad Zani, director of business development for Detail Garage. Products include waxes, brushes, applicators and detailing tools, according to the company’s website. Zani said the Springfield store, the second in Missouri, became the 63rd in operation for the company. The two-employee shop occupies 1,760 square feet in space previously occupied by Boardwalk clothing store, Doty said. He formerly was a frequent Detail Garage customer when working for the military on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Doty declined to disclose startup costs or the three-year lease rate with Mark Pike of KPAC. Properties. Detail Garage’s website does not list franchise terms.

And Now, Yoga LLC
Former yoga student Jessica Spragg became a teacher and first-time business owner with the Jan. 20 opening of And Now, Yoga LLC. Declining to disclose the purchase price, Spragg owns the 110 W. Front St. building in Rogersville, which she said was most recently a taekwondo school. The studio offers such classes as chair yoga, vinyasa, barre, yin and buti yoga. Monthly memberships start at $68 for unlimited classes, with discounts for students, teachers, military and seniors. Yoga leggings, shirts, greeting cards and mala beads are among the small inventory offered at the studio, she said. Spragg said she was first introduced to yoga years ago through home workout videos and studio classes. She enrolled in 2018 for teacher training classes through Emery Bryant Yoga LLC and became certified in 2019. Spragg announced March 22 via the studio website and social media that online classes are being offered as the studio is temporarily closed due to COVID-19 concerns.
