Ensley & Swann Boutique & Marketplace
The business portfolio of Matt and Andrea Battaglia expanded Aug. 22 with the opening of Ensley & Swann Boutique & Marketplace. At 200 E. Commercial St., the store is the second venture for the husband and wife, who took over ownership last summer of e-commerce business Girls Clothing Hut from Joe and Tracy Sutter. Ensley & Swann Boutique sells clothing for women, children and babies, as well as art, candles, jewelry and home decor, said manager Danielle Jeffries, who leads a staff of four. Startup costs and lease terms with building owner Mary Collette were undisclosed. Jeffries said the C-Street building sat vacant for about a year, noting it previously housed All Good Stuff Antique and Collectibles. Floor space at the nearly 2,500-square-foot boutique includes Girls Clothing Hut inventory among some 30 vendors selling products. Some vendors pay commission, generally starting at 15%. She said others pay a monthly rental fee, between $30 and $200.

The Branson restaurant is one of six self-branded eateries owned by Deen, and it’s the first in Missouri. The Elder Law Group LLC
Attorneys Danielle Kincaid and Angela Myers left Ozarks Elder Law LLC to start a new firm on Aug. 26. The Elder Law Group LLC operates in 2,860 square feet at 1730 E. Republic Road, Ste. F, in the Southgate Center. The firm’s six employees include Nicole Lindsey, who also worked at Ozarks Elder Law. Kincaid said an “opportunity arose for professional growth” for the two partners, adding she was unsure how many clients would switch over to the new firm. Startup costs were undisclosed, as was the five-year lease rate with Southgate Shopping Center LLC. Ozarks Elder Law owner Lori Rook said Kincaid and Myers left her firm earlier in August, noting there wasn’t a shared vision for the future. The Elder Law Group focuses on estate planning, probate, asset protection, nursing-home planning and trust administration.
