Co-owners Sean Runcorn and John Cavanaugh opened EcoLube Mobile, 1325 W. Sunshine St., Ste. 165, on Nov. 1, offering on-site oil changes, heated power washing, and tire repair and replacement for individual vehicle owners, fleets and employee groups.
Silent partner Runcorn borrowed more than $50,000 to start the business from Assemblies of God Credit Union, according to Operations Manager Cavanaugh. EcoLube Mobile’s oil changes cost around $35 for a passenger car, and discounts are given for groups, Cavanaugh said, noting that clientele includes Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Dyke Lumber Co. and Jackson Brothers of the South. Cleaners are biodegradable, and the reclaimed oil is cleaned and used in cement manufacturing, heating or other motor vehicles, he said. Hours: 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone: (417) 501-4645.
