Ingle’s Treasures
Harmony House opened upscale boutique Ingle’s Treasures for shelter residents July 7 in its administrative building at 519 E. Cherry St. Nonprofit Harmony House provides shelter and support services for victims of domestic abuse. The store’s name comes from former Harmony House Executive Director Patty Ingle. Krazy Spuds and Dawgs
Jeremy Tipton and Patrick Hopper opened the Krazy Spuds and Dawgs food truck June 1 at 836 N. Glenstone Ave. in the SGF Mobile Food Park. For their first restaurant venture, the business partners – who met while working at Bach Medical Supply – invested $35,000 to start and rent the space from Ken Walker of Transport Graphics Inc. for undisclosed terms. Walker typically charges the mobile food park’s six vendors $250 per month, according to Springfield Business Journal archives. With three employees in the 8-by-20-foot food truck, Tipton said Krazy Spuds and Dawgs sells hot dogs, brats and Polish sausage, as well as french fries, with toppings such as nacho cheese and seasoned ground beef. Hours: 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Web: Facebook.com/KrazySpudsDawgs
