Closet Chic Boutique
Six-year-old business Closet Chic LLC relocated in Ozark on March 17 to 5995 N. 21st St., near the Fremont Hills and Highway 65 corridor, said owner Clarissa Peterson. Grand opening in the new location was March 28 for the venture, which does business as Closet Chic Boutique. The women’s fashion boutique previously filled 1,200 square feet at 115 N. Second St. The 2,000-square-foot shop, which employs two, sells apparel, denim, shoes, accessories, jewelry, gifts and seasonal collections. Its inventory includes specialty clothing brands Daze Denim, Queen of Sparkles and Vintage Havana. Peterson said the move was driven by the desire to create an elevated shopping experience with increased visibility, including expanded merchandise offerings, dedicated styling spaces and room for future growth. The new location also allows the boutique to better serve customers through personalized styling and community-focused events, she said. Peterson started the business in 2020 as an e-commerce venture before opening a brick-and-mortar shop in 2022.

Best of Luck Beer Hall
Sanjay Kumar, owner of Zayka Indian Cuisine, bought Best of Luck Beer Hall on Feb. 10, said Jim Wilson, owner of JJJ Development LLC, which formerly owned the downtown building where the two businesses are located. The sale of Best of Luck, 313B S. Jefferson Ave., included the business, its name, branding and assets, Wilson said. He and Kumar declined to disclose the sale price or 2025 annual revenues for Best of Luck and Zayka. Kumar said he approached Wilson in 2025 about buying Best of Luck. He now runs the bar and restaurant under a five-year lease with building owner ESL Developmeent LLC, while also operating Zayka next door. He said the acquisition was a way to expand his restaurant business, learn full-bar operations and serve bar-style food at Best of Luck, alongside Indian foods at Zayka. Roughly 20 beers are on tap, along with four cocktails and four varieties of wine also on tap. Kumar said various burgers, chicken sandwiches and bratwurst options remain on the menu for the venture, which opened in 2019.
