Chesterfield Family Dental LLCDr. Roger Buzbee opened Chesterfield Family Dental LLC on Sept. 24 at 2104 W. Chesterfield Blvd. Buzbee worked with his brother, Gary, at Buzbee Dental for more than 20 years before leaving the family business in August. “It was time for me to go out on my own,” Roger Buzbee said, citing a change in business philosophies. With his roughly $400,000 purchase of the 2,500-square-foot Chesterfield Village building, Buzbee returns to space he practiced in between 1995 and 2005, when the brothers moved into a $2 million facility at 1244 E. Lark St. He said Roland Shultz Construction gutted the Chesterfield building in performing $125,000 in renovations, and Joyce Buxton of Buxton Kubik Dodd Creative handled interior designs. The clinic, which employs five, including Buzbee’s wife Teresa as office manager, offers cosmetic and general dentistry, including white fillings, bonding, crowns, root canals and gum disease treatments. Buzbee invested nearly $500,000 in equipment, including a CEREC machine for designing and milling tooth crowns on site through video imaging. Hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
