Open for Business: Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell and Brown PC

After outgrowing its office space in the Corporate Center, Springfield law firm Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell |amp| Brown PC moved its offices Nov. 18 to 2805 S. Ingram Mill Road. The offices were housed in Corporate Center for more than 15 years.

The new building is 12,000 square feet with a 3,000-square-foot basement used for file storage, said the firm's Managing Director Brad Cantwell (pictured in front with attorneys Julie Brown, Bill Evans, left, and Cliff Brown). The law firm, which has 14 attorneys and 22 other staff, is leasing from Jim Hutcheson Realtors Inc. Cantwell said features of the new building include the storage area, six conference rooms and more efficient space. |quot|We just needed more efficient space and more conference rooms, too,|quot| he said.

Leo's Pride, a carpet cleaning and furniture restoration business, has expanded its offices and warehouse. It opened Nov. 22 at 1135 W. Kathryn in Nixa with 3,000 square feet of combined space, double what it previously had. Leo and Athena Fitts own the business, which they started in Springfield in 1994. The business moved to Nixa in 2000. There are nine employees, Athena Fitts said, which work around the clock. Business hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

An animal grooming and boarding service called Noah's Pet Boutique opened for business Aug. 28 in Marshfield at 192 Farnsworth Lane. It is owned by Jennifer McCrary and David and Diane May. Noah's Pet Boutique offers eight suites for cats and 26 suites for dogs, including indoor/outdoor runs. McCrary said the pet boutique also sells pet food. The business is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday.

Crystal Rose Florist moved Oct. 29 to 15025 State Hwy. 13 in Branson West. Gary Bush, owner and operator of the florist, moved it from Kimberling Shopping Center in favor of the more visible location on Highway 13, he said. The flower and gift shop, is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.
