Cameo Salon LLC moved June 1 to 1460 E. Cherry St. Owner Whitney Bader said the hair salon and barber shop nearly tripled in size in the move from 601 S. Pickwick Ave., where the owners of Scotch & Soda and The Coffee Ethic are partnering to open a neighborhood bar dubbed Cherry Picker Package and Fare. In 1,300 square feet around the corner, Bader signed a three-year lease with Lexington Investments Inc. for undisclosed terms. Haircuts are $10-$20 and Bader said coloring services are under $100. Ascend Dental Design LLC
Dorman Family Dental on July 1 adopted the name Ascend Dental Design LLC. At 1200 E. Woodhurst Drive, Bldg. U, Dr. Jeffrey Dorman operated the practice since 1985, and Administrator Stephanie Grandestaff said the new name reflects a partnership with associate dentist Dr. Derek Magers. Magers joined Dorman two years ago after graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Grandestaff said Ascend Dental employs 12, including three dental hygienists, and specializes in cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well as dental implants. Big Time Results LLC moved June 1 to 201 S. Ingram Mill Road, Ste. A. Owner Noah Alldredge said the personal training company grew from 3,800 square feet at 3343 E. Montclair St. to roughly 6,000 square feet under a three-year lease with JKAA LLC. Lease terms and relocation costs were not disclosed. With 12 employees, Alldredge said Big Time Results specializes in corporate wellness training, and clients include Miller Engineering PC, Hayden Machinery LLC, Med-Pay Inc. and The Larson Group Inc.
