Janice Goocher opened Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders on Oct. 26 at 4560 S. Campbell Ave. Organized under Table Rock Restaurants Inc., the Goochers bought the $30,000 franchise rights for Bellacino’s, a fast-casual sister company to Michigan-based Mancino’s Pizza and Grinders. Both concepts are owned by the Mancino family, Blaine Goocher said. Offering oven-baked pizza and East Coast grinder sandwiches, Goocher invested $400,000 in the startup and signed a five-year lease in Shadowood Plaza. Goocher, who previously worked for seven years in operations for Dave & Buster’s in St. Louis, said Bellacino’s operates nearly 80 stores, four in the St. Louis market. The 3,000-square-foot Springfield store employs 25 and seats 86. Menu items include a 9-inch buffalo chicken grinder for $6.29 and a Sicilian square pizza for $14.85. With a digital camera attached to a remote control helicopter, Killingsworth captures images up to 400 feet in the air. A software engineer for document management provider PaperWise Inc., Killingsworth said he spent $2,500 for the six-rotor helicopter and a gyrostabilizer for smooth footage. The service targets high-end homes, rural acreage, golf courses and commercial properties and developments. Killingsworth said he’s secured residential real estate images and aerial views of the Americas Best Value Inn for sale at Highway 65 and Battlefield Road. Jim Stockton on Oct. 1 opened Table Rock’s Best, Realtors Inc. at 45 Notch Shopping Lane in Branson West. Stockton founded Stockton Realty in 1986 and 10 years later sold the firm to Carol Jones Realtors. He stayed on to work for CJR in the same office, a building that he owned, and Stockton said when CJR Tri-Lakes Realtors decided to lease another space, he and about 10 agents transferred their licenses to the new firm. Occupying a 6,000-square-foot, three-story building, Table Rock’s Best, Realtors brokers residential lots, land and commercial real estate in the Branson area, north to Ozark and Nixa, and south into Arkansas. Stockton, who declined to disclose startup costs, said sales commissions are negotiated by the broker and seller.
