Culley’s closed in 2005, and Bair, who was a patron in the late 1980s and early ’90s, said he trademarked the name in 2013. “I didn’t have anything to do with the original Culley’s. It was something I really enjoyed when I was in college with the live music and neighborhood pub-type feel,” said Bair, who moved the bar closer to Missouri State University’s campus from its previous home on Park Central West. With six beers on tap, Culley’s sells domestic drafts for $2.50 and bottles starting at $2.75.
