Aspen Elevated Health
A relocation to Nixa from Republic and a rebranding occurred Nov. 18 for Aspen Elevated Health, said Marketing Director Kristina Coons. The 103 N. Old Wilderness Road clinic, which opened in October 2023 as Complete Care Clinic LLC inside the 1173 E. Hines St. building that houses Hines Street Pharmacy in Republic, offers medical care for Nixa and surrounding areas. Coons said services include oral and injectable weight-loss solutions, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, dermal fillers, IV therapy, microneedling and laser hair removal. The clinic’s owner is Steve McClanahan, Coons said, adding he last year purchased the 2,193-square-foot Nixa building, which formerly housed the shuttered Family Medical Walk-In Clinic. Aside from Hines Street Pharmacy, she said McClanahan also owns pharmacies in Aurora, Battlefield and Marionville. Coons said the three-employee Aspen also employs nurse practitioner and lead clinician Courtney Davenport and aesthetics and clinical specialist Renee Hawkins.

Kuick Noodles
Kuick Noodles LLC, a self-service restaurant, held an April 14 grand opening at 3165 S. Campbell Ave., Ste. B7, said owner Sangyeal Lee. The eatery is a Korean-inspired quick noodle shop that Lee said he wanted to launch after last year closing Asian Food & Gift LLC, a market at 1314 S. Glenstone Ave. he opened in 2003. However, Asian market ownership isn’t in Lee’s rearview, as he next year plans to take over as owner-operator of Seoul Oriental Market when its owner, Young Choe, retires. Lee declined to disclose startup costs and lease terms with Young’s Plaza LLC for his 2,200-square-foot eatery. Kuick Noodles has over 100 types of noodles and rice cakes from Asia, including Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Customers can cook the ramen in the eatery’s self-service machines, and add-ons such as bean sprouts, eggs and green onions also are available. Kuick Noodles also sells dumplings, Japanese rice balls called onigiri, steamed buns and sweeter options, including cakes and Asian ice cream.

Phelps County Bank
Phelps County Bank is now operational at its new southwest Springfield branch. The company’s first day open at the 1770 W. Sunset St. building it purchased earlier this year was April 17. The 18-employee location is led by branch manager Shawn Means. Chris Wilkins, marketing officer for Phelps County Bank, said the company bought the nearly 21,000-square-foot former BluCurrent Credit Union building for undisclosed terms. BluCurrent last year opened a new operations center at 4520 S. National Ave. The new Phelps County Bank branch has a multilane drive-thru, ATM and retail banking that includes a lending center. Phelps County Bank now has six branches, including its two in Springfield. Locally, the company is led by Casey Pyle, market executive and senior vice president. One of the Springfield branches is a temporary space at 334 E. Walnut St. in which the company has operated amid renovations to the former Ozarks Regional YMCA building at 417 S. Jefferson Ave. Phelps County Bank, which is based in Rolla, in 2023 purchased the former YMCA building.
