Angela and Frank Cash on Feb. 1 moved Angie’s Massage & Wellness LLC to a 2727 W. Kearney St. storefront from their north Springfield home. “We moved for the convenience of our clients,” Angela Cash said. Cash, a massage therapist for two years, said she leases the 1,400-square-foot space from SLK Properties LLC for $675 per month. She invested $6,200 in renovations for new fixtures, a shower room for the infrared sauna and a bathroom. Cash and four independent contractors offer neuromuscular therapy, couples massages, hydrotherapy, ionic foot baths, aromatherapy, reflexology, body wraps, exfoliation and spa packages, as well as natural cleanses and supplements. Kids Shop
Husband-and-wife owners Tracy and Ann Nix opened their second Kids Shop on March 1 at 1845 E. Turner St., Ste. A. The couple leases the space from The Wooten Co. for $1,500 per month. The family owned business buys, sells and trades children’s clothes, toys and furniture. “We want to serve the public by offering quality clothes at affordable prices,” Ann Nix said. Talula’s LLC
Anthanett Long started Talula’s LLC on Feb. 1 at 1815 E. Grand St. Long, the shop’s owner and lone employee, leases the 900-square-foot store from C. Arch Bay Real Estate for an undisclosed amount. The small antique shop features repurposed items, jewelry, furniture, home décor and clothing. Long, who has been repurposing furniture for more than 30 years, said prices range between $1 and $600.
