MyAdvanceFitness.comFarmers GastropubBill Griffiths and
Christina Fugitt-Griffiths relocated Farmers Gastropub to the north end of the Brentwood Center, 2620 S. Glenstone Ave., across from Battlefield Mall. After a soft opening Dec. 30, the farm-to-table, English-style restaurant and pub was fully booked on New Year’s Eve, executive chef Bill Griffiths said, adding the restaurant served about 250 that night and netted some $7,000 in sales. He projects the 28-employee restaurant, which seats 140, will average $8,000 in weekly sales. The move from Wilhoit Plaza downtown slightly reduces the restaurant’s square footage to 3,800, but with a larger kitchen. The Griffiths signed a three-year lease with Gillenwaters Developers for undisclosed terms and invested $500,000 in the move. The South Glenstone spot had previously housed restaurants La Differace and Arde’s Villa. Hours: 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Phone: (417) 864-6994.
