Mama T’s Italian Cuisine
Stanley M. Tak Group LLC opened Mama T’s Italian Cuisine on March 20. The restaurant occupies the former home of a Movie Gallery at 2129 W. Republic Road in the Republic Plaza strip mall. The 3,600-square-foot space underwent renovations last November to prepare for the change to a restaurant with a 2,000-square-foot dining room, said co-owner and Manager Kari Wilkerson. Mama T’s serves a variety of Italian foods, including traditional pastas starting at $7.99 for lunch and $9.99 for dinner, sandwiches starting at $7.95 and pizzas ranging from $13.95 to $27.95. Strategic Financial Concepts Inc.
Wichita, Kan.-based Strategic Financial Concepts Inc. relocated its Springfield office May 1 to 3556 S. Culpepper Circle, Ste. 1, in the Culpepper Place Office Park. The firm was founded in 1992 by President Bruce Davison and previously operated its Springfield office in Hammons Tower, said Craig Wright, a financial adviser who opened the Springfield office in 2009. The company’s services include comprehensive wealth management, such as investments and insurance, as well as 401(k) and benefits planning. Locally, Strategic Financial Concepts has two part-time and three full-time employees, including recent hires Brian Gallagher and John Rouintree, Wright said.
